account information such as name, email address, avatar, and authentication data;
uploaded PDFs, pasted notes, transcripts, generated flashcards, and saved decks;
payment and subscription records received from Creem, excluding full card numbers;
usage, device, log, cookie, and security information such as IP address and browser type;
support messages and billing correspondence.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

generate, save, export, and manage flashcard decks;
authenticate users and protect accounts;
process payments, credits, renewals, refunds, and subscription status;
provide customer support and service notices;
monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve product quality;
comply with legal, tax, payment, and security obligations.

3. AI Processing

Text extracted from your PDFs or notes is sent to our AI provider only as needed to generate flashcards. Do not upload sensitive personal, medical, legal, financial, or confidential material unless you are comfortable processing it through the service.

4. Service Providers

We use third-party providers to operate the service, including hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, payment processing through Creem, analytics, and AI model access through APIMart. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us.

5. Payment Information

Payments are handled by Creem. We receive records such as customer email, order ID, subscription ID, product ID, payment status, and timestamps. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain account, payment, and saved deck data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to legal and payment record retention requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including TLS, access controls, server-side secrets, and provider-level security features. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and fraud prevention. You can manage cookies in your browser. Some cookies are required for login and billing-related flows.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of your personal information. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing emails. Contact us to make a request.

The service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
